The Lewis Machine & Tool Company Certified ISO 9001:2000 - 1 pg, 36KB

In registering for ISO 9001:2000 a company must comply with a number of requirements through a third-party auditor for certification. The company must demonstrate the Quality procedures and policies that they have in place to obtain customer satisfaction through the delivery of consistent products and services that meet or exceed customer expectations. ISO 9001:2000 also stipulates a requirement for the continuous improvements to an already established Quality Management system. The ISO 9001:2000 combines three former standards, the 9001, 9002, and the 9003 into one – the 9001. This new version places a company’s process management in the forefront requiring involvement from upper management to integrate quality into the business system. The audit was conducted by Intertek, the leading international provider of quality and safety services including ISO certification. ... view more
